Monash Exchange Party @ Marrakech Bar

Yesterday, we guiltily went for the Monash Exchange Party, which is a last event for the exchange students before everyone leaves to their country respectively. Initially i didnt want to go, but i was so tempted to go to the city for my Bak Kut Teh u see! So i decided, hmm i'll just drop by the event for a short while after that. Main motive is still, to make my tummy happy so that i have more mojo to study muahaha.

Okay anyways, how did the event go? Pretty boring actually. I actually brought my lecture notes with me just to make myself feel better, only to get blasted from my friends for being so kiasu hehehe. Hey, another friend brought also k!

Oh yeah, back to the event. Actually it could be fun, but it was a pretty sad night also, because a friend whom i would really like to keep in touch with b4 he heads back to his country, well, didnt want to talk to me anymore, due to a certain reason, which happened to me countless of times already sighhh. He actually dodged me when he saw me, as if i'm a ghost TT

It's kinda sad it has to end this way, oh wells..

Today marks the last day of classes for the semester, and i actually skipped that final class i have today just because i did some calculation of my time worthiness, and thought i'm better off going back home early to rest :)

Anyway, i have been eating in every day since the hard core studies began, and i just have more and more cravings for food!!

Right now, i'm SO SO SO craving for Bak Kut Teh!

And they have one in Old Town Kopitiam which is in the city, and i just want to go so badly despite the exam period.

The thing is i dont think anyone would want to go to the city during this period as every single minute is meant for studying, so no teman :(

But the Bak Kut Teh is worth a little sacrifice of time for me.

Spring break in Aussie <3

Hellow folks, i'm back again!

Another update after one whole month of not blogging. So this is a real long one for you readers.

This recent semester break, i headed from the cold, chilly and wet Melbourne to warm and sunnyBrisbane and Gold Coast! It wasnt my first time in the Sunshine State but i have been looking forward to go back there so badly again! Plus, everyone was teasing me about going there to find my surfer guys, since i have fetish for them :P

It was a really GREAT holiday, i had so much fun, did some tanning, and PLENTY of SHOPPING! I miss that place but not for long. I'm gonna be back there before i know it :)

We headed to Elephant & Wheelbarrow, a pub that reminds me of the Nott :) .In this picture, the band Blah Blah Blah was performing Kings of Leon, Sex on Fire. Just awesome.

Oh, while we were at the beach, there was a sudden announcement by the surf guard, saying that there is passing whale! Everyone stood up to watch it. There was a surf guard on his jet ski in the sea trying to refrain the whale from getting near to the beach. It was super cool tho, we spotted the whale, blowing out water from its blowholes a few times.

Exam is in 2 weeks time, and I have been locking myself at home for the past few weeks, except a one dinner outing in the weekend, and that's it. Hoping for the best, wish me luck :)

Good luck to all the people studying. This semester has been great, gonna miss all the exchange people from overseas going back to their country.

When life isnt as how u expected it to be..

Hi people,

So i've been here for 2 months plus already, and i can say that this is an experience that i'm going to remember, being apart from my family and living my life here as a student for the first time.

There is always this part of me that wants to experience all those stuff over here even before i'm here, and another part of me that dreads the worst that can happen. And somehow, time flies and without realising, all these are over. And when i look back and rewind a little bit, i can only laugh about those happy times, regret about those unexpected ones, and learn from the mistakes i made.

But it's safe to say that i do not regret my actions as of now, because i try not to regret my decisions. I just learn from them if they turn out bad. Who wants unhappy chapters in their lives? Nobody does. But i guess it's also an essential part in everyone's life. Because if it is not for the unhappy chapters, we would not be able to appreciate and treasure our happy chapters even more.

Meeting people from all walks of lives is an important chapter here. Because some people might actually create an impact in our lives, and we just wont know it at that moment. I have always trusted my judgement in people. But there is this sad part where we cannot control what really happens, and that's when we get disappointment from people that we actually put our trusts in. I am still very afraid of putting myself in such position.

There is this irony where, you gotta open up to people in order to let yourself love again, but at the same time, the more you open up to people, the higher the tendency of you getting hurt again as well. Somehow, it just scares me having to go through the same thing all over again.

Somehow, there is so much to share right here. And i miss pouring out my thoughts in my beloved blog. But there is this part of me that holds back from doing so, because i felt that it is no longer safe to do so. There is always people judging whatever you say or do, and life is suddenly not as simple as it seems anymore. To be harsh, there are just so many busybody trying to pry into your business and judging you just based on what they see from the surface.

Last night, a shooting star actually went past me while i was walking back home at night. Sadly, i only saw flashes of it from the side view of my eyes, while my friend saw the shooting star itself. I did not make a wish because it's not meant to be for me, which also makes me very disappointed because i always wanted to see one. I know i will see it someday, it is just not my moment yet.

As random as this post can get, i heard more stories about 'you'. It is just ridiculous to hear so much about u from people all over the place, gosh. And it only proves my judgement and decision a right thing to do. I guess 'you' just proved how big of a liar a guy can be. It is just too bad that i walked away sooner than i expected myself to be.

It feels good to actually being able to sit down and blog properly right now. I have been reminiscing for the past few days. I spoke to my sisters, and they shared crazy stories with me. And it only makes me miss home so much for that reason. They are short of one person to laugh about those crazy happenings at home. My mum sounded to me that i havent called home for the recent week. But she has no idea how often i think of home, and i just couldnt call home at that time because i was out of IDD card and i couldnt buy because..well..i was trying to save money that week..because...i overspent on food XD. Yes thats right. I am not like other fanatic girls who splurged on shoes and clothes here. But i have no control on my spending on food here. I just cannot stop eating ALL THE TIME! I have gained alot for that reason.haha..not funny TT But i am going to call home tonight, promise :)

Feeling feverish now, having a bad sore throat, this is only my second time falling sick since i'm here. That's a record :) I love Melbourne for that reason. The air is just so fresh and invigorating.

Anyways, that's the whinning for today. Time to eat porridge for dinner yo, my first porridge i ever made since im a porridge hater :P

Just finished a presentation earlier and it's safe to say i'm free for this whole week. Oh what a relief..

Meteor rain

Fairuz told us that a meteor rain is expected in Melbourne at 1am tonight while we were all up doing our online quizzes.

Excited, we headed out of our house in the super chilly cold night (me in my shorts) to wait for it to come.

Sadly, the sky shows no sign of the meteor rain, although we enjoyed the short chatting session while waiting.

I was hoping for the meteor somehow. I'm in need of some magical moments now.hmm..

Anyways, burning the midnight oil now, trying to finish off tutorials..so much of them every week!

After that, cant wait for the weekends :D
